The 9th of July we attended the conference of the new Decree for the Technical Inspection of Buildings (ITE) in the Association of Architects (DECRET 67/2015 per al foment del deure de conservació, manteniment i rehabilitació dels edificis d'habitatges) that entered into force the 27^th of May.

 The new Decree incorporates important news, such as:

-Obligatory nature for single family home.

-New qualification of the deficiencies.

-Incorporation of the ITE in the contents of accessibility, maintenance and ecoefficiency.

- New period of the validity of the Certificate of Aptitude issued by the Generalitat.

-Elaboration of a Programme of Rehabilitation for the repair of the deficiencies.

On the other hand, it’s established as obligatory –by ownership- the formalization of the Book of the Building from the date of the ITE’s reception.

The Club of Padel Vilanova has ordered us the project for the execution of an indoor padel tennis on the inside of an industrial unit.

This sports complex will consist, in the first phase, of 4 padel tennis courts, reception, locker rooms, bar-cafeteria and small shop.

In the second phase, we will add a gym and a series of rooms for controlled activities.

This week we have presented a proposal for the construction of apartments in row, in the locality of Tabuk (Saudi Arabia), by the constructive system Steel Framing (system of construction formed by structural framework obtained by shaped sheet galvanized with cold).

This week we’ve returned to the RKB studios to discuss about the implementation of the systems of quality paperwork in the area of the construction.

Is it easy to introduce a system of quality paperwork in a big enterprise or in a small one? It is clear that the constructive entreprises have a good level of implementation but… and the offices of architecture? Ángel Martínez (AMSA Arquitectura) has participated in the gathering with Montse Rubinat (responsible of quality and environment of the enterprise Construcciones PAI and teacher in the Escola Politècnica Superior d’Edificació de Barcelona (EPSEB-UPC) and Alberto González (manager of GO&GO multiservices).
